Consulting & Training Services

JR Builta looking at soil before he sprays.

Everyone on our team who comes to your property is trained to 'look and really see' when they are on your property. You will often see them out of their truck, on the ground, checking out the soil.

However, we have two designated consultants - Betsy Ross and Steve Diver. Both are available to come to your location.

Betsy Ross at Merrie Talley Field Day

Betsy specializes in natural agriculture projects - pastures, grazing operations, prairie rejunenations, and center pivots systems. She will walk your pasture/project with you and tell you what she sees. She is a frequent presentor and teacher at field days, native plant meetings and neighborhood pasture walks.

Betsy, with her son (JR Builta), brother (Joe David Ross), sister (Kathryn Ross) manage 'Betsy Ross Grass-fed Beef' operation in Granger, Texas. They are suppliers to the Grassfed Lifestock Alliance which sells to Whole Foods Grocery. The Alliance is in all 19 of the Texas region stores, including Oklahoma and Louisanna. The Rosses also provide their meats to People's Pharmacy in Austin, East Side Cafe as well as Greenling, an organic foods delivery service.

Give her a call at 512-636-3711.

Steve Diver with Lolly Lewis Talking About Compaction

Steve specializes in horticultural and annual crops projects such as gardens (backyard as well as commercial), nurseries, orchards, viticulture, composting and research projects. He is a fine presentor, educator and researcher and is available for on-site consulting as well as seminars, company training, and high level, technical presentations.

Steve Diver and Betsy Ross in Red Oak, Texas

Teaching where ever you will have us! Joe Bradford from the Texas Valley says that these natural/organic/sustainable systems will work if someone wants them to - and won't work if someone doesn't want them to. We know change is hard - especially our cultural practices (the way we work, do things). But if you are looking for a change, we would like to help!
